General Preparation Resources
Stepping up to chemistry: free online resources aimed at pre-university students. This site has been specially designed by Chemistry students at University of York, sharing with you tips and advice based on what current students found most difficult when beginning the course.
Chemistry HE+: free online summaries of key topic areas that feature at undergraduate level from the University of Cambridge (also resources for lots of other subject areas too).
Reading Lists: Check your chosen university's subject site, they will have a suggested reading list/first year textbook that you could get a head start on.
90 Chemistry Videos: this youtube channel has loads of chemistry videos that target specific topics/skills that you have covered at A level or will be covered in your degree.
Key Transferrable Skills: prepare yourself for the different teaching and learning styles expected at university, e.g. learn how to take lecture notes, write abstracts, give effective presentations.

Analytical & Interpretation Skills
Practical work is a MASSIVE part of university science study and whilst it is not recommended to set up a lab at home you can practice the analytical and interpretation skills you will need.
Practice your spectroscopy and problem solving skills using the results in these investigations:
Maths Skills
Enhance your scientific mathematical skills using these problems.
Organic Chemistry
Mechanism inspector: test your knowledge of reaction mechanisms and understanding of the underlying chemistry with this reaction modelling tool.Organic Chemistry Infographics: brush up your organic chemistry with these downloadable infographics, they would make awesome revision materials!
